Their hot bar food is always disappointing. This location doesn’t seem to have a good cook. The apple turnovers apple jam taste like soap, and the chicken tikka masala is always dry. It’s nothing like the food at other Whole Foods locations.

My first experience with the Whole Foods Market in Princeton was disappointing.On June 3, I stopped in for lunch since I work nearby. I purchased food from the salad bar and additonal single meal from the hot prepared food for family style of the shrimps with pineapples . Which cost $13.Later that evening, my daughter was eating the shrimp plate and immediately spit it out, saying something was wrong with it. I tasted it myself, and the shrimp had a mushy, mashed-potato-like texture. It was clearly overcooked or spoiled and was not edible. I threw the food away because I was concerned about its quality. I was out of town for work for several weeks, so I wasn't able to return to the store until July 14. While there, I spoke with the manager and showed my receipt from June 3. She explained that because it was beyond the 30-day return policy, they couldn't issue a refund. She apologized, but that was the extent of the resolution. While I understand that stores have policies, I was disappointed that no courtesy credit or store credit was offered, especially since I was in the store making another purchase. My concern wasn't simply about the $13,it was about the quality of the food and

I am so mad! As a weekly shopper at 2 different Whole Foods locations, I found out that Princeton has a secret. Someone’s grandma is in the back cooking! Nothing lacked flavor at the hot bar and the Family Meal for 4 had the most tender and flavorful salmon I may had at Whole Foods before. I’m mad because I may have to start driving 36 minutes to come to this location. Side note, the power went out due to a storm, and the staff was super helpful.

I’m pregnant and due any day now so I came in to grab a few of the $35 meal deals for postpartum survival. The portions and food was great. However the reason I’m writing this review is everytime I come here I find myself having to go look at the bakery section. I don’t know who is responsible for decorating the cakes here but whoever it is has such a talent for it and deserves to be recognized. I’m SO impressed every time I come here they’re so cute and such a labor of love. I hope whoever it is knows that someone out there really sees it and appreciates it even if it’s just the random pregnant lady coming for her meal preps haha :)
